Arsenal fans isn't Thomas Vermaelen the buy of the season?
When it comes to shopping nothing beats Wenger's shrewd and savvy skills.Damn I feel sorry for Man City spening double the cash on Lescott.
Vermaelen is playing like he has been in Arsenal for the past 3 seasons, confident in the air even though he's not a tall player,does not fear hard tackles, great game reader.He's really quick making him able to run back when he joins the counter attack and most of all lethal in front of goal.His goals would be the envy of a world class midfielder.I mean even if he will not be our top scorer eventually it does not hurt having a center back as lethal as that.
If he can put in a free kick I won't be too surprised
I don't think it's a fluke that he's hit a purple patch so early on, it's just a testament to how good he is.I think he's amazing,I don't miss Kolo at all.
He's been better at attacking than defending. His finishes are top class and more suited to a striker. He is the best buy of the season and to be honest one of the best CB in the PL.
